La Baraka Caregivers was started by Sister Zareena Khan an experienced health care professional who is passionate about patient care for the past 30 years.We aim to provide home-based medical care, so that patients can stay either at their homes or at our premises.Our aim is to assist in the full recovery and rehabilitation of patients, in order to allow them to achieve the highest level of functional capacity.

Care and Counselling of patients diagnosed with mental illnesses, Alzheimers, Parkinsons and Dementia

Our professional nurses are able to provide a wide range of basic care for those with a change in medical condition or recent discharge from hospital or other conditions
La Baraka Caregivers are responsible, professional and compassionate;
We give elderly, infirm and sick a sense of dignity and vital companionship;
References are always available
We always have a doctor on call 24 hours
We also help patients outside of Ladysmith in other parts of South Africa
