Site Agent – Civil Construction (Fixed-Term | Tender-Contingent)

Salary: R32,000/month
About the Role
We are a civil engineering and construction company based in Ladysmith, KZN, currently tendering for a Built Environment infrastructure contract. We are proactively recruiting a qualified Site Agent to join our team should the tender be successfully awarded.
Important: This position is subject to the tender being awarded to our company. The salary is only payable once the contract is confirmed and work commences. By applying you acknowledge and accept this condition.
Contract Requirement: Shortlisted candidates will be required to sign a Fixed-Term Employment Contract confirming their commitment to work for our company on this project. This signed contract forms part of our tender submission. It is null and void if the tender is not awarded.
Minimum Requirements
National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Built Environment
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Agent
Experience on formally tendered government or private infrastructure projects
Knowledge of OHS Act 85 of 1993 and Construction Regulations
Valid South African ID
Based in or able to commute to Ladysmith, KZN
Responsibilities
Manage all on-site construction activities and daily operations
Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials
Ensure work meets project drawings, specs, and quality standards
Maintain site records, progress reports, and documentation
Liaise with the client and engineering team
Enforce Health & Safety compliance on site at all times
What We Offer
R32,000/month
Salary paid on the 30th of each month
